Sign in to CloudVeil Messenger

Because of recent changes from Telegram, signing in to CloudVeil Messenger (CVM) may take an extra step, especially if you do not already have an active Telegram session on your account. Follow the steps below in order. If something still does not work, contact us.

Too many attempts

If too many sign-in attempts are made in a short time, Telegram may temporarily stop sending codes. Wait at least 24 hours before trying again.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Install and sign in to the official Telegram app

  • Download the official Telegram app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android)
  • Open Telegram and enter your mobile number.
  • When prompted, choose Send code via SMS.
  • Wait for the code, complete sign-in, and confirm you can see your chats and contacts.
Changing phone numbers: update your number inside Telegram before continuing with CVM.

2. Install CloudVeil Messenger

  • Visit messenger.cloudveil.org and choose your platform (Android, iOS, etc.), or install CloudVeil Messenger from your app store.
  • Open CVM, enter your phone number, and tap Next to start sign-in.

3. Get the CVM access code

  • Telegram delivers a new access code in the official Telegram app, in the Telegram Login chat.
  • Open that chat and copy the code.

4. Enter the code in CVM

  • Return to CloudVeil Messenger and paste or type the access code to finish logging in.

5. Remove the Telegram app

  • After CVM is signed in and your messages load, you may uninstall the official Telegram app if you no longer need it.

6. Optional: add a second device

  • You can install CVM on a tablet or desktop for convenience. That can make receiving future access codes easier without reinstalling Telegram.

App blockers and filters

If a CloudVeil app blocker or filter prevents installing Telegram, contact the appropriate support team and ask for a temporary unblock so you can complete sign-in. Include:

  • Your device type (Android, iOS, etc.)
  • The phone number on the device
  • The account holder’s email address

We will do our best to help with temporary access for this process.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I need the official Telegram app?

Telegram sends login codes via SMS (text message) only through their own app, on either Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) (in the Telegram Login chat). If you don’t currently have any devices signed in to CVM, Telegram or any other Telegram-based app, you must use the official Telegram app.

Where do I find the access code?

In the official Telegram app, open the chat named Telegram Login. The code appears there after you start sign-in in CVM.

I am not receiving a code. What should I try?

Use Send code via SMS in Telegram first and confirm you are fully signed in there. If you have tried many times, wait 24 hours before trying again. Check spam filters and that your phone number is correct.

Can I uninstall Telegram after CVM works?

Yes. Once CVM is signed in and your messages appear, you may remove the official Telegram app. Adding CVM on another device can make future logins easier if you need a new code later.

My filter blocks Telegram. Can I still sign in?

You will need a temporary exception to install and use the official Telegram app long enough to complete the steps above. Contact your filter or support team with the details listed in the App blockers and filters section.
